Obtained from a harmonious blend of Cabernet Franc, Sangiovese, and Merlot, Aetos Cerrolungo is the authentic expression of the vineyard from which it comes — a place that tells the story of light, rolling hills, and the character of our estate. The grapes, carefully hand-harvested with dedication, ferment in natural cement vats, following their own rhythm and preserving the purity of the fruit.
Aging for approximately 12 months in small barrels and French oak tonneaux gives the wine depth and harmony, creating a velvety tannic texture and a supple body that carries each sip on a sensory journey.

2023 - modest yields with grapes that have reached good ripeness and aromatic intensity, producing elegant, expressive wines rich in character.
In the glass, it reveals an intense purple-red color illuminated by garnet reflections. On the nose, a rich and enveloping bouquet emerges, dominated by Cabernet Franc with hints of aromatic herbs, complemented by the ripe cherry and violet notes of Sangiovese and the plum nuances of Merlot. Oak aging leaves delicate traces of vanilla and sweet spices that harmonize the whole gently.
The wine achieves a perfect balance between structure, fruit, and depth, with a long, intense, and slightly spicy finish that leaves a lasting impression and invites you to lose yourself in the beauty of Val d’Orcia.
